Does any of this actually work?›
Fair question, and one I asked myself for years. I am a natural skeptic and an engineer by training, so I did not accept any of these practices until they proved themselves on my own body, through chronic illness, organ failure, and injuries conventional medicine could not resolve. I only offer sessions and teach methods I have personally tested. I cannot promise a specific outcome, because every body and situation is different, but I will never put something in front of you that I have not proven to myself first.
What happens after I pay?›
Jess reviews your availability and reaches out within 1 to 2 business days via email or phone to confirm your exact session time. Sessions are available 7 days a week.
Can I gift a session to someone?›
Yes. On the intake form, toggle Gift It at the top, choose any session up to $250, and enter the recipient's first name with an optional personal message. After you pay, you receive a gift certificate by email with a redemption code. Forward it to the recipient, print it, or hand it over however feels right. They redeem by emailing bookings@upgradeyou.life with the code and a few availability windows. Gift certificates are valid for 12 months. Munay Ki and Tao Tan Pai sessions are not giftable because they require the recipient to choose that work for themselves.
Do you offer remote sessions?›
Yes. All sessions except Tao Tan Pai intensives are available remotely worldwide via Zoom or phone. In person sessions are available in Orem, Utah. Tao Tan Pai intensives happen in person in Orem or Jess can travel to you anywhere in North America.
Do I have to be on the call the whole time?›
No. Every healing is flexible. You can be on the call and lie down, close your eyes, and rest. Falling asleep is welcome. Or skip the call entirely and Jess will perform the session distance only. The energy work happens regardless of your participation. Energy is not limited by physical distance.
Can I book without any call at all?›
Yes. On most sessions you can choose No Call at checkout. Instead of scheduling a live meeting, you simply tell Jess a preferred date, a loose time of day, and your timezone, and he performs the session at distance. You can rest, sleep, or carry on with your day. The work happens regardless. If you prefer a live call, you can choose video or phone instead. Shamanic Journeys and the lineage transmissions are the exception and are always done together live.
Can I book more than one session at once?›
Yes. Add as many sessions as you like to your selection, including more than one of the same session, and pay for everything in one secure checkout. Adjust the quantity of each before you check out.
What is The Peaceful Passage?›
The Peaceful Passage is gentle, quiet support for someone in their final days who feels afraid of what comes next. The work eases that fear and helps them feel calm and at peace. It can be done by phone or at a distance. Because it is time sensitive, Jess responds the same day, and a family member may arrange it on someone's behalf with that person's permission. To arrange it, reach out through the contact form rather than the standard booking checkout.
What do I need for a remote session?›
A quiet private space, a stable internet connection, and an open intention. Jess handles everything else.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?›
Cancel 7 or more days before your session for a full refund. Cancel 48 hours to 7 days before for a full credit toward a future session, valid 12 months. Cancel within 48 hours, at Jess's discretion, otherwise forfeit. Intensives priced at 777 dollars or more, cancel 14 or more days before for full refund, 7 to 14 days for 50 percent refund plus 50 percent credit, less than 7 days for credit only. Life happens. Jess works with you on genuine hardship cases.
Can I pay in installments?›
Yes. Stripe Checkout offers Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay at checkout. Pick the plan that works for you, from Pay in 4 up to 12 monthly payments. You pay on a schedule, Jess receives the full amount up front, and the booking is confirmed immediately.
Which payment methods do you accept?›

Is this covered by insurance?›
Energy healing and shamanic sessions are not typically covered by standard health insurance. HSA and FSA eligibility varies. Contact your provider for details.
